We respect your privacy and your desire to understand how your information will be handled and used. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use and store your information.
References in this Privacy Statement to -we-, -us- are to LA ROCHE CLOTHES a limited liability company organised and existing under the laws of The Netherlands, having its registered office at 3991BT Houten (The Netherlands), Prins Hendrikweg 12, and registered under company VAT number 30240537. We act as data controller and are responsible for the processing of your personal data when you interact with us.
What information do we collect?
When you make a purchase, we will collect necessary information about you to ensure we can fulfil your order. When you place an order with us for products that will be delivered, we will need to take additional contact details and delivery information from you so that we may complete your order.
If you choose to pay by card, we will need to collect your payment information in order to process payment. We may ask for additional information from you for a number of reasons, for example, to prevent fraudulent transactions or to ensure that we comply with our legal obligations.
We also collect your contact details if you have subscribed to our newsletter.
When you visit the shop, information can be collected through your IP address or through cookies placed on your device. For more information about how we use cookies, please refer to our cookie policy.
On what legal grounds do we use your information?
We are required to disclose on what legal grounds we are able to use your information.
We require your information for the performance of our agreement with you, i.e. in order to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, and to provide you with the products, services and information that you request, including managing and handling your requests, inquiries or complaints.
We can also use your information for our legitimate commercial interests, such as
-to advertise our products and services;
-to contact you for direct marketing or other commercial purposes;
-to analyze and improve the quality of our products and services;
-to understand you as a customer (customer optimalization);
-to operate and expand our business activities;
-to generate aggregated statistics about the users of our products and services;

The personal data we collect may be used to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject, such as supervisory bodies, fiscal authorities or investigation bodies.
Sometimes you have provided us permission to use your information. This is the case when you subscribe to the newsletter.
Who has access to your information?
We only pass on your information to other parties when this is really necessary for providing you our services and products. These parties are amongst others our delivery partners, payment partners, and IT service providers.
We can be obliged to share customer information with government authorities.
The parties who receive access to your information through us, are only allowed to use it to offer you a service on behalf of us. An exception is when they are responsible for acquiring and protecting your information themselves. We never sell your information to third parties.
Where do we save your information?
We save your information in several databases, and we always use strict safety measures. Your information is almost always saved within the European Union. In the case that customer information is passed on to countries outside of the European Union, we will ensure that your privacy remains protected in the best way possible. We work with official model contracts, which are especially set up to safeguard your privacy.
How long do we save your information?
We are committed to keeping your personal information only for as long as is necessary, or where we have a legitimate interest to do so. In cases where we no longer require personal information, e.g. for analytical and research purposes or transaction information, we will remove any personal details about you.
If you have registered for an account with us, then we will continue to retain your personal information in order to maintain your account. We understand that some of our customers do not shop with us on a regular basis, but if you have not made a purchase with us for a continuous period of 7 years, then we will delete your account details and all personal information that we hold about you. If you wish to use your account after this time, you will need to sign up to a new account.
If you have not registered for an account with us, but you have signed up to receive our marketing communications, then we will only retain your information for as long as we have your consent to send you marketing.
We are obliged to save our administrative paperwork with your invoicing, payment, and order details. We save this information as long as legally required. We only use anonymous information for internal reporting after the retention period.
We can be obliged to store information that we need to prevent fraud for a longer period.
What are your rights?
Would you like to access your personal details or receive a copy for free? Or would you like to edit your details, delete or restrict usage, or adjust your email preferences? You can do this by sending us your request via mail or email (see our contact details in this Privacy Statement). In this way you can object to the usage of your information for marketing purposes, or let us know that you feel your privacy weighs more heavily than our interests. We will review the situation in this case. Do you want us to transfer your information to another party? If you send us a request to exercise your privacy rights, we want to make sure it is really you. We could ask additional information to establish your identity. We also do this when we receive unclear requests.

This Privacy Statement may be revised from time to time. If a fundamental change to the nature of the use of your personal data is involved or if the change is in any other manner relevant to you, we will ensure that information is provided to you well in advance of the change actually taking effect.
